Team Management Tips by Eric Ittah


A manager can only be called efficient if he knows how to manage his people better. There are five ways that can help you manage people in a better way. These ways have been described below for you to understand better:

Good communication – If the communication between a manger and his team is clear and good, half of the battle is won. If the work that has to be delivered is communicated properly, the team will end up doing it right first time.

Stop micromanaging – You can build a good team by stopping micromanaging. As a manager, you must avoid poking your nose in everything that your team members do. Give them the liberty to do their job at their own convenience.

Be open – You should be open with your team members and must listen to your employees. You must give attention to their problems and must try to resolve their issues as soon as possible.

Appreciate – When your team members do some good job, try to appreciate their efforts. This will make them feel that you really give heed to the work done by them.

Be empathetic – You must not react or judge any team member immediately. You must take time to understand why that person is behaving in this manner.
